6 players Wizards fans need to watch in the NCAA Tournament

Cody Williams, Colorado
The younger brother of Oklahoma City Thunder breakout forward Jalen Williams, Cody Williams is coming off a very nice freshman season with the Colorado Buffaloes. Much like Jalen, the 19-year-old Cody has an impressive 7'2" wingspan, which he uses to operate at a high level at the rim and in the mid-range. In 21 games this season, Williams averaged 12.6 points in 29.4 minutes per game.
Williams' Colorado team is set to face Boise St. in a winner-takes-all play-in matchup on Wednesday evening, putting the young forward under immediate pressure to begin the tournament. Scouts across the board project Williams to find himself an NBA home during the lottery portion of this year's draft.
Rob Dillingham, Kentucky
The 2023-24 SEC Sixth Man of the Year, Rob Dillingham has provided a major boost for the Kentucky Wildcats off the bench this season. As a freshman, Dillingham averaged 15.4 points per game, shooting an impressive 44.9 percent from three-point range on four and half attempts per contest. His elite shooting keeps defenders off balance, which has allowed him several open drives to the basket this year.
When the Wizards last drafted a guard from Kentucky in 2010, Washington welcomed in John Wall. Washington's former superstar guard has spoken about Dillingham previously on his podcast, giving him praise for his coachability and his skill at a young age.
