The Washington Wizards looked to be a team that missed out on a golden opportunity this offseason when the dream to land Cooper Flagg went up in flames during the NBA Draft lottery.

One month later, the Wiz seemed poised to land a top three talent at No. 6 overall in Ace Bailey before the Utah Jazz decided to roll the dice on a disgruntled rookie.

Ultimately, it landed the team Tre Johnson, who many looked at as a solid consolation price for a team who fell out of the top five as a whole.

However, through two games in Summer League, it's starting to look like the Wizards may have selected a player that every team dreams about.

Entering the draft process, everyone was aware that Johnson had an argument to be the most well-rounded scorer in the entire draft class.

The 6-foot-6 guard showed just how explosive he could be throughout his freshman season at Texas scoring at will on a nightly basis.

Johnson is a polished shooter with underrated finishing around the rim and his ability to create his own shot opens up the offense for him.

When the ball is in his hand, there always seems to be a high chance that something positive will happen.

Sure, there's room for improvement in other areas of his game such as his lack of playmaking as a facilitator. Despite that, the strengths he has outweigh the areas that need improvement.

Just ask Jason Timpf who has nothing but raving reviews about the early signs from Johnson's first two games in summer league play.

Timpf noted how he believes that Johnson is "tailor-made for an NBA offense" largely due because of his ability to be a movement shooter and also being able to score off the dribble.

Johnson can score out of nearly any action and with continued development, he's only going to improve as his NBA career continues.

There's so much to like about what the guard offers to not only the Wizards franchise, but what he could offer to nearly any team in the league, hence to why he was one of the biggest risers in the entire draft following the NBA Combine.

Johnson has a skillset that could allow him to contribute early and develop into an absolute star at the next level courtesy of having the talent and abilities that nearly every team in the league dreams about in a player.
