The Washington Wizards continue to lead the race for the No. 1 overall pick with their league-worst 3-19 record.

While the Wizards still have a long ways to go in order for them to officially clinch the top seed in the upcoming NBA Draft, as of now, their doesn't seem to be any hope that the team will turn their season around. At least they won't turn it around enough to strip themselves of the No. 1 pick.

That said, it's never too early to get a look at who the Wizards could be in line to select as the offseason approaches closer day by day.

Round 1, Pick 1: G Dylan Harper, Rutgers

As the offseason approaches, there's no secret that Duke's Cooper Flagg and Rutgers' Ace Bailey seem to be the two most talked about prospects for the top pick. However, there's another rising star for Rutgers that could put himself in position if he continues to play at the level he is, and that's Dylan Harper.

The 6-foot-6 point guard continues to impress in his freshman season and his odds to be the top pick will only increase. Averaging 23.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 4.6 assists, while shooting 51.3% from field goal range and 33.3% from three, Harper's ceiling looks like it could be just as high, if not more as the rest.

Round 2, Pick 38 (via DET): F Donnie Freeman, Syracuse

Donnie Freeman could be exactly what the Wizards are looking for as a high-reward, low risk second round pick. The Syracuse forward has impressed in his freshman season with the Orange averaing 14 points, 8.7 rebounds and 1.1 assists, while shooting 50.5% from the field.

Considering his size and age, he has all the tools to develop into a monster two-way player.

Round 2, 45 (via PHX): F JT Toppin, Texas Tech

JT Toppin may not be there in the middle of the second round if he continues to play the way he has been. The 6-foot-9 forward has been one of the most consistent players in the country during his sophomore season at Texas Tech. Averaging 18.6 points and 11 rebounds per game, Toppin could be a huge boost to the Wizards depth chart with the potential to be more than a role player.

Round 2, Pick 52 (via GSW) G Jamir Watkins, Florida State

Jamir Watkins is a player that could be a huge steal for whatever team takes the chance on him. The 6-foot-7 senior has the size at the guard position to be an absolute monster if he can put it altogether. And through the start of the season at Florida State, he's shown he can.

Averaging 17.7 points while shooting 43% from field goal range, there's no doubt he can score at the next level. The question is can he contribute in other areas?
