The Washington Wizards entered Sunday night's matchup with the Indiana Pacers looking to snap their 10 game losing streak. Despite their efforts on the road, the Wizards fell short yet again in a 115-103 loss.

Washington now sits at 2-13 with an 11 game losing streak continuing to grow as their season slowly but surely slips away. Nonetheless, even in their losses, there's still some good to pull away from the bad, and in their most recent loss, Washington got a glimpse of what their future could look like with good performances from many of their young core players.

That said, here's a look at the top performances on Sunday, led by the one of the team's top rookie.

Alex Sarr and company impress in loss

Alex Sarr led the way for the Wizards in one of the best games of the season for the reigning No. 2 overall pick. The French product finished the matchup with 17 points, 14 rebounds and three assists, while shooting just shy of 50% (7/15 FG) from field goal range on the night.

To add to his impressive night scoring and on the boards, the 7-footer continued to showcase his two-way ability with two blocks and a steal in the loss.

In addition to Sarr, the Wizards were able to catch a look at other core pieces in the matchup against the Pacers. Fellow rookie Kyshawn George is another player that stepped up to challenge in his fifth start of the season. George ended the night with 15 points, five assists and five rebounds while shooting 50% from field goal range including two threes.

Another young player that put together an impressive night was second-year man Bilal Coulibaly. The two-way guard continues to show promise in his sophomore season with the Wizards and hasproven to be a consistent playmaker for Washington.

Coulibaly ended his night with 17 points, six rebounds and four assists despite a lackluster shooting night (4/9 FG). Not to mention the 20-year-old's two blocks and a steal in the loss.

As the season continues, it's going to take more than just impressive nights from the team's young core for the Wizards to turn this season around. Of course, at this point, looking towards the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes could be an understandable pivot for a team that desperately needs to find the focal point of their rebuild.

Nonetheless, as of now, the team will continue to look for a winning recipe to with hopes of turning things around before it comes to that point.
