The Washington Wizards are coming off one of their most impressive seasons in franchise history, which isn’t saying much, but it’s a step in the right direction.
Now that we’re fully invested in the Wizards’ random surge in the NBA Playoffs, it’s time to review how Washington got to where they are.
We probably won’t be seeing a Wizard hoisting an MVP trophy this season, but instead of focusing on league-wide awards, it’s time to focus on the team.
Remember: These prestigious, fictional awards are only for the regular season. Paul Pierce is deserving of every playoff award ever.
