Washington Wizards bench sharpshooter Bojan Bogdanovic is receiving interest from three teams, according to a report Saturday. Bogdanovic is a restricted free agent, meaning Washington can match any offer, but the team may find itself unable to, depending on the contract it gives to Otto Porter.

While Wizards fans searched for latest news around restricted free agent small forward Otto Porter, some news broke regarding its other restricted free agent Bojan Bogdanovic.

ESPN’s Chris Haynes reported the following:

Despite his lack of success in the playoffs, Bojan should receive a pretty aggressive contract, certainly more than $10 million a year.

The Kings are also meeting with Porter, as they look to add some older talent that can shoot the ball. The Kings can probably offer more playing time than the Wizards, but the potential for success is pretty low. They can also offer the opportunity to play with another Bogdanovic.

Denver will have a pretty strong pitch, as they have an up and coming team, and potentially a larger role available.

Atlanta seems destined for a rebuild, after trading away Dwight Howard, and with the expected departure of All-Star Paul Millsap.

It’s expected that Washington won’t be able, or willing to resign both Bojan and Porter, so the fun with had with him this season may have just been a three-month rental. Fans will be upset about using a first round pick on a rental, but Grunfeld had to do it to get rid of the horrible Andrew Nicholson signing as well.

As with Porter, the Wizards will have 48 hours to match, but we know how the team is about going into the luxury tax. More to come.
