Ice Cube’s BIG3 league is getting ready for its third season and headlining this year’s crop of talent is none other than Mr. Hibahci himself: Gilbert Arenas. It got us thinking about some other players we’d like to see come out of retirement for some 3v3…

He’s baaaaack. One of Washington’s most beloved ballers will finally be returning to the hardwood, but this time Gilbert Arenas will not be in a Wizards jersey. In fact, he won’t even be in an NBA jersey.

Arenas, now 37-years-old, hasn’t touched an NBA court since 2012. However, thanks to Ice Cube and the BIG3 league, Agent 0 could be back to getting buckets before we know it.

Now entering its third season, the BIG3 continues to attract big-name former stars. In its first two seasons, the BIG3 has featured former NBA greats such as Allen Iverson, Chauncey Billups, Baron Davis, Gary Payton, and more.

Despite some early speculation, the league only looks to be getting bigger and better.  March 19 was the last day players could sign with the BIG3 for the summer. Season three’s headliners include by Arenas, Lamar Odom, Joe Johnson, Jason Terry, and Al Jefferson.

In addition to the growing list of former NBA greats, they’ve has also pulled in a number of past Wizards players, too.

Al Harrington, Rashard Lewis, Kwame Brown, DeShawn Stevenson, Drew Gooden, Rasual Butler, and Larry Hughes are just a few of the former Wizards who’ve found their way onto the BIG3 court. This year, former Wizard Steve Blake will join Arenas as a BIG3 rookie.

With things not going so great for the Wizards this season (Bradley Beal’s mastery and Thomas Bryant’s emergence excluded), it’s got us thinking about successful seasons of old, and fan favorites from yesteryear. Here are the 5 former Wizards we’d love to see lace it up one more time for a little 3v3…
