Playing for the Washington Wizards in 2013-’14 was Eric Maynor.

Maynor isn’t a player many fans will remember as he only played for five seasons. Although, he did play for five teams during that time, which is admittedly kind of impressive. What’s more impressive though, getting paid over two million dollars after averaging 4.5 points per game the previous season.

That’s right, after only four years in the league and never averaging more than 4.7 points per game, even in seasons where he played half the season on rebuilding teams, the Washington Wizards more than doubled the minimum salary to get Eric Maynor.

He would continue to not do much, playing 31 games in that season. Only 23 of which came with the Wizards though as they traded him to the Philadelphia 76ers in the trade that landed Andre Miller in Washington. He also was not good for the Wizards.

There isn’t much else to say about Maynor and his stint with the Wizards. He was paid two million dollars to play at the level of a minimum contract.

Still not horrible, but those are still coming up.
