There have been ups and downs this season for the Washington Wizards this season. This has been due to a number of factors. Inconsistent play by players, poor coaching, and a hefty sum of injuries.

Due to their underwhelming season and upcoming free agents who will be expecting a huge pay increase, it’s likely that a few players will be finding a new home over the offseason. Whether by trade or walking in free agency, the Wizards aren’t keeping everybody around.

We already know a few players have already punched their ticket to stay on the team next season. Bradley Beal, Kyle Kuzma, Kristaps Porzingis, Delon Wright, Jordan Goodwin, Daniel Gafford, Corey Kispert, and Deni Avdija are all likely staying put.

However, there are a few players on the trade block for either roster improvements or to save money for the upcoming free agency of Kuzma and Porzingis. Some of which are likely to go.

While there aren’t many huge names on this list, it is still interesting to explore what next season’s roster could look like, even if the final standings of this year’s postseason aren’t yet decided.

Anthony Gill is likely to be involved in a trade this offseason unless he proves his value.

Of all the players on the Wizards’ roster, Anthony Gill seems the most likely to be involved in a trade. Although, he wouldn’t be the center of the Wizards package and would likely be accompanied by one of his teammates and maybe a pick.

He is on a small contract, but he rarely touches the floor, it would be best to move him in a package for a player who can actually contribute to winning.

Even when he has played, he hasn’t been that great. Gill is a third-year player at 30 years old who hardly contributes to his team. It’s unlikely that he returns for another year with the Washington Wizards.

If he is able to put together a strong stretch to end the season, he may be able to extend his Wizards career, however unlikely.
