The Washington Wizards point guard Monte Morris is currently on the trade block, with rumors and speculations swirling in on a daily basis. In the midst of it all, the 27-year-old floor general is about to make a TV appearance in one of the most-awaited shows of the NBA season.

The lead NBA insider of the Athletic and Stadium, Shams Charania is hosting an NBA Free Agency Live Show starting at 5:30 pm ET today. Morris is one of the four guests on the show.

The NBA free agency officially starts at 6 pm EST today. Even though there is a moratorium until July 6th when deals can officially be signed, there will be verbal agreements reported today. Regardless of the fact that teams aren’t technically allowed to be negotiating with free agents before 6 pm today, there will definitely be many deals announced immediately after the moratorium begins.

Shams Charania, who is one of the leading news-breakers in the NBA will almost certainly be the first reporter to announce a lot of the signings and contracts tonight. This will include any potential dealings of the Washington Wizards as well.

Perhaps more relevantly, Monte Morris will be there to react and analyze all the free agency moves. He will also likely talk about the future of the Washington Wizards and what he expects from the team going forward.

He will presumably discuss his future with the Washington Wizards and his potential next destination. It’s even possible we might see him get traded while he is on the live show. Morris reacting to his own trade live will certainly be good television.

If you are looking for a play-by-play style free agency show with a Washington Wizards perspective, you aren’t going to do much better than Monte Morris’ reacting live to the day’s events.
