The Washington Wizards have several young prospects on the roster that will dictate the direction of the team's future moving forward.
Obviously, names like Alex Sarr, Kyshawn George and rookie standout Tre Johnson come to mind when thinking about the young core in Washington, but beyond those three, there's plenty of players the team's front office and coaching staff are excited about.
One player in specifc, is former No. 7 overall pick Bilal Coulibaly, who's growing confidence only adds to the reasons why the Wizards feel he could be the difference maker when it comes to taking the team to the next level.
And based on his latest comments, it seems that Coulibaly feels the exact same way.
Bilal Coulibaly's latest championship comments should turn heads
In a recent viral video making its rounds on social media, the French product made it clear just how confident he is about what he has to offer.
Bilal Coulibaly: "I'm a winner, we'll talk in a few years. When I get my championship ring, I'm gonna talk crazy"

Coulibaly claiming he's a winner is already an intriguing part of the quote, especially considering up to this point, he really doesn't have much evidence to back that claim up; at least not yet.
Beyond that, the oversized guard's claim to having a championship ring in a few years adds to the excitement these comments alone should bring a fanbase who would arguably trade anything to see their team in this position.
It's certainly a bold claim for Coulibaly to make, but the fact of the matter is that this is the exact confidence Washington needs the high-upside prospect to have, especially if they hope he'll ever reach his ceiling.
Coulibaly needs to tap into the confidence to take another step
Coulibaly has shown plenty of flashes through the start of his young career, but he's yet to take that leap that fans have been hoping he would up to this point.
There's no doubt the playmaker's calling card is on the defensive end, but for him to take his game to another level, he'll have to find a way to stay consistent on the offensive end.
Still, the 21-year-old has plenty of time to take the next step in his development, and at the end of the day, his strong suits are the exact type of skillsets that will help the Wizards win, especially if their new superstar duo can take them to the heights that the team's front office envisioned when they landed them ahead of the NBA trade deadline.
All that to say, Coulibaly's confidence is encouraging and if he's able to back up these bold claims, he'll have plenty of reason to talk.
