The Washington Wizards have an abundance of young talent on their roster as they continue to build towards the future.

Considering the offseason moves bringing in new faces like Tre Johnson, Will Riley and even Cam Whitmore, fans have found even more reason to be excited about the direction their team is headed in.

However, the excitement around new players may be overshadowing one of the Wizards' best young prospects already on the roster in Bilal Coulibaly.

Coulibaly's sophomore campaign ended early to a season-ending hamstring injury, which alone could be why his presence on the team may be getting overlooked.

Nonetheless, the French product's skillset could be what opens up a whole new level of success for Washington and head coach Brian Keefe could be the guy to figure it out.

Obviously, when Coulibaly was drafted, he was selected as an oversized shooting guard.

Through his first two seasons in Washington, he's played that role even serving as the Wizards starting two guard this past season, where he average a career-high 12.3 points, 5 rebounds and 3.4 assists.

And while Coulibaly very well could stay locked into a spot in the backcourt, his 6-foot-8 frame could allow for the Wizards to throw out one of the most versatile lineups in the league.

Looking at the Wizards roster, with the likes of CJ McCollum, Tre Johnson, Khris Middleton, Coulibaly and Alex Sarr, Washington could roll out a five-man lineup that has plenty of offensive upside and defensive potential with their two french prospects anchoring down that end of the court.

It's clear that Coulibaly's defensive versatility is the most intriguing part of his game, but what he showed offensively in flashes this past season adds to what he can offer as a two-way player for Washington moving forward.

As Coulibaly continues to develop, his improvement alone could be an X-Factor for the Wizards.

Nonetheless, with a crowded backcourt, it could be hard for Brian Keefe to find minutes for every young guard on the roster.

Which leads us to Coulibaly's versatility.

Considering his size and length, Coulibaly has the potential to play multiple positions in the lineup.

If the 21-year-old is capable of making the switch to play in the front court at either the 3 or 4, the Wizards could roll out a lineup that could make things difficult for opposing teams to not only defend, but score against.

With Coulibaly and Sarr both in the frontcourt, it opens up immediate minutes for Bub Carrington, Tre Johnson and even AJ Johnson, who could all use immediate minutes to further their development.
