The Washington Wizards are hours away from finding out where they'll select in the upcoming NBA Draft.

As of now, Washington is tied with the Utah Jazz and the Charlotte Hornets for a 14% chance to land the No. 1 overall pick.

However, the Wizards have the chance to slide all the way back to the No. 6 overall pick if their worst nightmare happens to become a reality, which would ultimately force them to miss out on the top two or three prospects in this draft class.

Obviously, every team is coveting the top pick with the hope of earning the chance to select Cooper Flagg at No. 1 overall, but until the draft order is decided, Mock Drafts will continue to flow with different teams picking at certain numbers.

In the latest NBA Mock Draft by Cameron Salerno of CBS Sports, the Wizards miss out on Flagg but they rebound nicely with a first-round draft haul to be proud of.

Round 1, Pick 2: G Dylan Harper, Rutgers

Dylan Harper is without a doubt picking up plenty of steam to be the No. 2 overall pick in this draft class. The Rutgers guard has the size at 6-foot-6 to be play in multiple lineups and the talent level to be a difference-maker in the right situation.

Averaging 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4 assists in 29 games for the Scarlet Knights this season, Harper proved the hype entering college was more than warranted.

Although he's not the immediate impact player Flagg likely will be, he has all the tools for his game to adjust nicely to the NBA and within a few years with the right development he could be the building block the Wizards were desperately hoping to find in this draft class.

Round 1, Pick 18 (via MEM): F Asa Newell, Georgia

Asa Newell is another top recruit to land with the Wizards in this Mock Draft. Newell committed to Georgia as a five-star recruit out of high school, and he quickly impressed with the Bulldogs.

At 6-foot-11, the big man has the athleticism to play multiple positions, but the size to still dominate in the paint, especially when he adjust his body into an NBA frame with more muscle. Newell averaged 15.4 points and 6.9 rebounds, while shooting 54.3% from field goal range against SEC competition this season.

In addition to his 54.3% shooting from the field, the Florida native shot 29.2% from three. And while his efficiency from beyond the arc may not look impressive, he has the form and the confidence to develop his jumper to be a reliable stretch big for Washington alongside Alex Sarr.

Thinking about a potential starting 5 of Dylan Harper, Jordan Poole, Bilal Coulibaly, Asa Newell and Alex Sarr could be a fun lineup to watch next season.
