The Washington Wizards big day is finally here with the NBA Draft Lottery hours away.

Washington will finally find out where they'll be selecting with their top pick in the 2025 NBA Draft as the team and fanbase eagerly awaits to see if they'll be fortunate enough to be in sole position to draft Cooper Flagg, or if their nightmare scenario of falling out of the top five as a whole comes true.

Regardless of where they land, it's important for fans to know when the draft lottery is, and who will be representing their favorite team on stage.

That said, here's a breakdown on what you need to know ahead of the NBA Draft Lottery:

When is the NBA Draft Lottery?

The Wizards and the rest of the lottery teams will find out their fate on Monday, May 12th. Coverage for the event will begin at 7:00 PM ET and fans will be able to watch it on the NBA streaming hub.

Where is the NBA Draft Lottery?

The NBA Draft Lottery will be held in Chicago, where the league commissioner and representative for each lottery team will be in attendance to find out where their team's will land ahead of the NBA Draft in June.

Who will be representing the Wizards?

Each offseason, lottery teams are given the ability to send a representative of their choice to the NBA Draft Lottery. Often times teams elect to send current or former players, head coaches, general managers or even owners.

For the Wizards, they'll be sending reigning lottery pick Bub Carrington to the draft tto represent them hoping that the former No, 14 overall pick will bring them good luck in the final lap of the race to win the Cooper Flagg sweepstakes.

After hearing that he was selected to represent the Wizards at the Draft Lottery, Carrington was asked if he'd be bringing anything for good luck and he stated he'll be bringing a poker chip with the Wizards logo on it that he received in Summer League last offseason.

Although there's no significance behind the poker chip for fans right now, if Carrington is in attendance with it when/if the Wizards earn the top pick, it's safe to say that poker chip will be considered pretty lucky moving forward.

What are the Wizards odds again?

The Wizards are tied with the Utah Jazz and the Charlotte Hornets for the highest odds to earn the No. 1 overall pick with a 14% chance.

Beyond that, here's a look at the odds for each pick beyond No. 1:
