The Washington Wizards are one of many teams with a hefty to-do list this offseason before the 2025 regular season rolls around.
With the NBA Draft behind us and the moratorium of NBA Free Agency already passing, team's have been given the green light to make every move necessary to bolster their roster with a few months to go until another full 82-game slate arrives.
Many big names have re-signed with their current squads, while others have found new squads along the way.
Of the names that have found new teams, former Wizards Bradley Beal, Kristaps Porzingis and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope are of the top players that have been involved with deals this offseason.
However, one former Wizards starter that has yet to find a team with a use for his services is Thomas Bryant.
Bryant began his NBA career with the Los Angeles Lakers after an impressive college journey with the Indiana Hoosiers.
Despite his start in LA, Bryant got his first real chance to see extended minutes in Washington, where he became a reliable starter for the Wizards with his best season coming in 2019, where he averaged 13.2 points and 7.2 rebounds.
From there, the former Indiana standout found himself bouncing around the league as a bit of a reserve specialist due to injury-riddled seasons that forced him to miss time here and there.
However, Bryant spent majority of last season as part of the Indiana Pacers, who seemingly got the support of nearly every fanbase in the league behind them with their cinderella run to the NBA Finals.
The big man served as solely a backup big for Indiana through the season playing in 56 games and only starting in eight.
Throughout the postseason, Bryant found his name being called on in tough situations and despite his defensive lapses at times, he more than made up for it with timely buckets on offense.
Although he may not be a premiere starting center in the league as of now, at 27-years-old, the 6-foot-10 center has the skillset available to help nearly any team in the NBA right now.
Whether the need is for a spot-starter, strictly a reserve or a cheap starter, Bryant has the ability to step in and play almost any role needed.
As the offseason continues, Bryant should become a target for teams who need frontcourt depth and with the current state of most rosters in the league, nearly every squad could use a capable big man to bolster their roster.
