The Washington Wizards have had plenty of legends to walk through their doors over the years to represent the city on their chest.

Of the names that come to mind, Michael Jordan, Elvin Hayes, Wes Unseld and even recently retired John Wall are considered some of the best players to play in the DMV.

Gilbert Arenas is another player that can be considered a Wizards legend considering his impressive career in Washington.

Now, the former Wizards' star looks to add to his resume in a new journey teaming up with the man who could be considered the sports analyst with the most controversial takes, Skip Bayless.

I know what you're thinking...how could Arenas and Bayless co-exist long enough to film television.

The answer? That's the point.

Arenas himself has quite the unique takes on sports, especially basketball.

On his podcast "Gil's Arena", the former Wizard has said plenty of outlandish things that have gotten the attention of current and former NBA players.

Fortunately, between both Arenas and Bayless, sports debates are the two areas that both men thrive at.

Bayless has made a reputation for himself for isolating himself on an island surrounding by his irrational sports takes and opinions and defending his thoughts with every last breath in his body.

Arenas will likely push Bayless over the edge as both men are very opinionated and firmly believe in what they're saying.

To me, that sounds like excellent television and clearly Underdog feels the same way.

Nonetheless, Arenas and Bayless won't be the only two stars on the show as former NFL star cornerback Aqib Talib and former NFL head coach Jay Gruden will also help host "The Arena: Gridiron" with social media Kinsey Wolanski serving as the host on the new show.

The show will begin next Tuesday and be aired three times per week moving forward.

Don't be surprised to see Arenas take his new role on the show to heights way beyond this opportunity at Underdog,

Arenas is the perfect television talent with his blunt takes and lack of care for others' opinions when it comes to disagreeing with him.

With John Wall set to begin his career as an NBA Analyst for Amazon Prime and Arenas now set to have his own role on TV, Wizards fans will have plenty of reasons to tune in even when their teams aren't the ones suiting up on that given day.
