The Washington Wizards have several tough decisions to make as the NBA trade deadline slowly approaches.

Based on the start to the season, it's clear Washington isn't close to competing for a playoff spot any time soon.

As a result, there's no doubt that Washington will likely remain active on the trade market as they have in seasons past, especially as playoff teams come calling looking to poach servicable players from the Wizards rosters.

With Washington expected to become sellers ahead of the deadline, multiple names have already began to be floated in trade rumors, including the likes of CJ McCollum and Khris Middleton.

However, one name that has quietly become a top trade chip for the Wizards is former first-round pick Corey Kispert.

The sharpshooting wing is expected to garner plenty of interest on the trade block if the Wizards due opt to make him available for trade.

Considering his team-friendly contract and the fact he'd be a reliable 3-and-D option for nearly in team in the league, Kispert will be a top target for several playoff caliber teams.

As a result, Bleacher Report's Zach Buckley took the time to mock up a hypothetical trade that could be struck ahead of the deadline for Kispert.

Corey Kispert lands with the Magic in hypothetical trade

The hypothetical trade below was put together by Buckley in efforts to chalk up a trade that each NBA team would make if the deadline were today.

Wizards receive: Jonathan Isaac, Jase Richardson and two 2028 second-round picks (ORL's own and via LAL or WAS)
Magic receive: Corey Kispert

"With this roster otherwise ready to win right now, the Magic would surely welcome a sharpshooter if they could find one," Buckey explained. "Kispert shouldn't be the hardest one to land as a 27-year-old role player on a rebuilding team going nowhere soon."

"This would be really early to cut ties with Richardson, this summer's 25th pick who has shot it well in limited action, but the Magic might be good enough to justify prioritizing the present," he continued, "The need for more shooting is that pressing, and Kispert has the touch and talent to address it."

Moving on from Kispert would be wise for the Wizards and if they were able to net a young talent like Jase Richardson in return, it would without a doubt be worth the move. Not to mention the additional draft capital Washington could add to their list of assets.

In addition, Washington could likely find a suitor for Jonathan Isaac; that is if the Wizards didn't have dreams about pairing up a Alex Sarr and Isaac to create a nightmare defensive frontcourt for opposing teams.

Sending Kispert to a division rival may not be the most ideal scenario, but considering the return, the move would make perfect sense for the Wizards to pull the trigger on this deal.
