The Washington Wizards are going to be mentioned in numerous trades over the next couple of months considering their current state of a rebuild with plenty of players to that contending teams will likely have their eyes on.

Of the players Washington has that could be moved, names such as Khris Middleton, Marcus Smart and Richaun Holmes almost immediately come to mind.

However, one player that seems to be picking up steam as a potential trade candidates for fans around the NBA is Jordan Poole.

Obviously, the Wizards landed Poole in a deal with the Golden State Warriors after the team offloaded Chris Paul's contract in a deal with the Dubs.

At the time, Washington wasn't exactly sure of the roller coaster ride they were strapping in for, but from being benched in year one and being labeled as the worst contract in the league to bouncing back in his second year with the Wizards and becoming one of the most coveted contracts in the league, it's fair to say that the Jordan Poole experiment is a wild ride.

In fact, it seems that even Warriors' fans are starting to regret trading away the explosive scorer and are now beginning to look for scenarios in which they can get Poole back in Golden State.

That said, here's a look at a potential Wizards-Warriors deal that has been gaining traction on social media. Let's take a look and examine whether or not Washington would seriously consider this deal.

Wizards send Poole back to Dub nation

A look at the proposed deal:

The Wizards would essentially send Jordan Poole back to the Warriors in a deal that would land them a young promising guard in Brandin Podziemski and one of the best defensuve big men in the entire league in Draymond Green.

For Washington, this trade would be a no brainer considering the flashes of potential that Podziemski has shown in his limited role in Golden State. At 22 years old, not only would the Santa Clara product match the timeline of the Wizards rebuild, but he would fill a position of need that Washington is searching for.

In addition, while Green may not be too keen on the possibility of suiting up for the Wizards, he would be a player that multiple contending teams would have interest in trading for which would potentially allow for Washington to net even more compensation in return for Poole.

All that to say, would the Wizards do this deal? Likely. Would the Warriors? Probably not.

Not only would they be losing a core member of their defense, but they'd be losing a leader of their team that would leave them with an additional hole to fill considering Podziemski and Poole can fill similar needs.
