The Washington Wizards return to action on Friday against the Cleveland Cavaliers after a much needed break was gievn courtesy of the NBA Cup.
Washington's start to the season has been beyond disappointing and there's countless of reasons to suggests why the Wizards find themselves at the bottom of the NBA standings yet again this season.
Between the sophomore slump for Bub Carrington, lackluster play from veterans and the inconsistent start to Cam Whitmore's tenure in the DMV, the Wizards woes have come at the hands of several factors.
However, arguably the biggest reason for the team's struggles can be linked to the fact that Washington has been plagued by an injury bug that simply just won't go away.
Heading into battle with the Cavs on Friday, the team's injury report suggest their recent slide isn't set to come to an end anytime soon.
Wizards injury report doesn't look encouraging
The Wizards won't be at full strength when they take on the Cavaliers and based on the team's injury report, they may not be getting healthy for the forseeable future.

OUT:
Bilal Coulibaly (right oblique strain)
Corey Kispert (thumb fracture)
Khris Middleton (right knee soreness)
Alex Sarr (adductor strain)
QUESTIONABLE:
Malaki…
Bilal Coulibaly is set to miss yet another game with a right oblique strain that is set to keep him out for the next few weeks.
The injury for the team's third-year man has been disappointing as his struggles to stay on the court continue to plague his development in the DMV.
In addition to Coulibaly, Washington's frontcourt will be extremely shorthanded with both Corey Kispert and Khris Midldeton set to miss action.
With Washington missing several wings, head coach Brian Keefe will be forced to give his bench lineup a second look, which could bode well for Cam Whitmore, who was recently benched, to earn himself back in the rotation.
Nonetheless, biggest name on the injury report is Alex Sarr, who's without a doubt been the biggest X-Factor for the Wizards up to this point of the season.
In the midst of a sophomore leap, Sarr's extended absence could be a major loss for the Wizards in its own right, especially if he's unable to pickup where he left off.
Regardless, Washington will be forced to dig deep on Friday if they hope to put an end to their losing streak.
If they're unable to do that, a win may not be on the radar for the forseeable future, at least not until the team regains some key pieces.
