The Washington Wizards went from potentially landing Cooper Flagg with the No. 1 overall pick ahead of the NBA Draft Lottery, to seeming destined to lose out on the top five prospects in the upcoming draft.

However, recent reports suggest that Washington's front office has confidence that the team will be able to land a top prospect in the NBA Draft even if they stand pat at No. 6 overall.

In addition to those reports of the Wizards being comfortable sitting at No. 6, rumors have swirled that Washington is a team to monitor ahead of draft day with the chance that they could make a bold move to trade up with their eyes on a top prospect.

Despite that, if a recent mock draft from ESPN deems true, the Wizards may not have to lift a finger and still land arguably one of the top prospects in this entire draft class.

That said, here's a look at what Washington's draft haul could look like if ESPN's Jonthan Givony and Jeremy Woo's predictions were to come true:

Round 1, Pick 6: G/F Ace Bailey, Rutgers

Heading into the college basketball season, Ace Bailey was deemed as an early name to watch as a projected top three pick in this year's NBA Draft.

Bailey proved the hype to be right after an impressive season at Rutgers, where he proved to be one of the best tough-shot making players in the nation. The oversized guard can play multiple positions and with his versatility on offense seemingly able to make any shot on the floor.

If he's able to land in a place like Wizards where he has time to develop, his potential is through the roof.

Not to mention with rumors of him turning down draft workouts and a potential slide out of the top five in the near future, Washington could be set up for a nice surprise come draft day.

Round 1, Pick 18: F/C Asa Newell, Georgia

Asa Newell would be a major pickup for the Wizards with the No. 18 overall pick. The Georgia product has the talent to be an immediate impact player and his versatility in the front court would make him an ideal fit alongside Alex Sarr.

Newell was a former five-star recruit and if he can continue his development in Washington, he's another player who could be a core piece for the Wizards moving forward.

Round 2, Pick 40: C Johni Broome, Auburn

With their lone pick in the second round, ESPN has the Wizards selecting Johni Broome out of Auburn.

Broome was one of the nation's top players last season and while he has flaws in his game, there's no denying that he's a talented player.

Would he be a star in Washington? Likely not. However, he could be a reserve player that the Wizards could develop and from there, you never know.
