The Washington Wizards draft picks in the upcoming NBA Draft have been finalized as the team prepares to narrow down their options following the NBA Combine.

Washington is one of three team's who have to cope with the fact that Cooper Flagg was yanked from underneath them. Despite that, the Wizards still have the oppotunity to land multiple talented players in this upcoming draft class with two picks in the first round and their lone second-round pick.

In ESPN's recent post-combine mock draft, the Wizards seem to be targeting a certain area of the game that each of these players excel at.

Let's break it down.

Round 1, Pick 6: G Tre Johnson, Texas

At No. 6 overall, ESPN has the Wizards selecting Tre Johnson out of Texas. The Longhorns guard may arguably the best scorer in the entire draft class and between his size at 6-foot-6 and natural ability to put the ball in the hoop, he seems to mark off all the requirments for Washington to select him with their top pick.

Prior to the draft, Washington was rumored to be targeting positional size. In addition to that, the team's need for offense is clear. What better way to tie two loose ends with one knot by taking a crafty backcourt scorer, with good size who averaged 19.9 points, while shooting 42.7% from field goal range and 39.7% from three.

Not only does Johnson have the talent to impact the Wizards early, but he has the potential to develop into the star they desperately need.

Round 1, Pick 18: G/F Liam McNeeley, UConn

The Wizards run on offense doesn't stop with Johnson as they take Liam McNeeley with the No. 18 overall pick in the draft.

McNeeley averaged 14.5 points during his lone season at UConn, while shooting 38.1% from the floor and 31.7% from beyond the arc. The six-foot-seven forward's shooting splits may not look the best, but don't let the averages fool you, he has the potential to be a reliable shooter at the next level and the potential to develop into much more.

Round 2, Pick 40: G Chaz Lanier, Tennessee

Rounding out their draft class, the Wizards take Tennessee star Chaz Lanier at No. 40 overall.

Lanier would be an absolute steal at this point in the draft and while he may be a second-round pick, the talent he posesses could make him one of those rare success stories to develop into more than just a role player.

Lanier averaged 18 points, while shooting 43.1% from the floor and 39.5% from three with the Vols this season.
