Washington Wizards guard John Wall recently displayed his acting chops on Disney XD, where he was seen rockin’ a wig and hopping in a portal.
People are complex and it’s easy to forget that while watching professional athletes perform at an almost superhuman-like level on television.
John Wall is a once in a lifetime talent. He’s arguably the quickest player to ever grace an NBA floor, has incredible court-vision and the work ethic needed to become a superstar.
This season, the Washington Wizards‘ lone All-Star has averaged a career-high 23 points and 10 assists. Currently, the Wizards are sitting in the fifth spot in the Eastern Conference and will likely make the NBA Playoffs.
Wall has constantly dazzled those in attendance with his crossovers and no-look passes. He makes it seem easy – like it takes no effort.

But he’s more talented off the court, apparently.
The following is not true…
Wall is low-key one of the best actors in the NBA.
Given how much time he devotes to the game, it’s been difficult for Wall to land any acting gigs during the season.
But recently, Wall had an opportunity to display his acting chops on Disney XD. He played – of course, John Wall.
In the avant-garde role, Wall pretended to be some weird dude’s father.
The weird dude had a flashback of Wall, who was rockin’ a long wig, embarrassing him on the basketball court as a child.
Wall dunked over the kid and then proceeded to do the nae-nae. The weird dude – all grown up at this point – wanted to get revenge, but Wall decided to get inside a portal that took him away.
Wall’s had some great performances this season. He scored over 50 points, albeit in a loss.
But this one – man – this one cannot be topped.
It’s difficult to get press credentials, but I’ll certainly be in the area when Wall accepts his Emmy Award.

In all seriousness, it’s good to see Wall step outside of his comfort zone. When he first entered the league out of college, I don’t think he would’ve accepted an offer to put on a wig and goof around for a bit on national television. He seems to be a lot more open with trying new things – or at least it seems that way.
