There's no doubt that all eyes are on the current situation between Giannis Antetokounmpo and his uncertain future with the Milwaukee Bucks.

The two-time MVP has refrained from making a trade demand out of Milwaukee, at least publicly.

However, with the recent struggles of Milwaukee prior to Antetokounmpo's calf injury, the writing seemed to be on the wall for the superstar to get the fresh start that nearly everyone has expected him to be seeking.

With recent reports suggesting that Milwaukee's stubborn front office may finally be coming to terms with the harsh reality that a trade could be best for both sides, the next week could prove to be hectic as the NBA trade deadline quickly approaches.

Obviously, nearly every team has hope that they will be listed as a preferred landing spot for the Greek Freak, but with his desire to play on a contender, it's become crystal clear that any list Antetokounmpo makes will include playoff caliber teams ready to make a run at a championship sooner rather than later.

For any Washington Wizards' fans, that would seemingly take the team out of the running for any chance to land the star player, but crazier things have happened.

Antetokounmpo doesn't have a no-trade clause and with no leverage, the Bucks don't have to grant his decision to land with a top team.

Similar to the Toronto Raptors decision to trade for Kawhi Leonard despite being advised against it, the Wizards among other teams could prove aggressive in pursuit of Antetokounmpo.

And thanks to ESPN Insider Bobby Marks, it's become clear exactly what the Wizards would have to offer.

Bobby Marks outlines Wizards trade chips for Giannis

In a recent article, Marks broke down the situation in the East between Antetokounmpo and the Bucks, the insider revealed what each team in the league would have to offer in any potential deal for the playmaker.

In regards to the Wizards, Marks highlighted the fact that Washington has already traded for a four-time All-Star in Trae Young and they could turn their attention to Antetokounmpo if they really wanted to.

"Washington has the $33.3 million expiring contract of Khris Middleton and a league-high nine players on rookie contracts, including Alex Sarr, Tre Johnson and Bilal Coulibaly," Marks mentioned. "Washington will add a high lottery pick in 2026 and has five additional tradable first-rounders with 2028 and 2030 swap rights with Phoenix."

The Wizards have geared up the ammunition to make a major trade when given the chance, but a swing for a 31-year-old looking to contend now may not exactly be on their radar.

Regardless, it's clear that Washington has the young assets, tradable contracts and draft capital to make a deal work if they truly wanted to stir things up in the NBA.
