As you could expect, head coach Brian Keefe wasn't too thrilled following the Washington Wizards blowout loss to the Miami Heat on Tuesday night.

Considering in which the fashion Washington lost, it doesn't come as a shock to see their head coach upset at how things played out, especially when considering that Bam Adebayo's historic night began with the big man outscoring the Wizards' team as a whole in the first quarter.

However, Keefe's postgame comments after the loss seem to be more disgusted in which the fashion the game unfolded in the fourth quarter rather than the way his team played in general.

Brian Keefe upset about how the fourth quarter transpired

Following the loss, Keefe was brutally honest about his thoughts on Adebayo's big game.

The Wizards' head coach fell just short of calling out the Heat and head coach Erik Spoelstra for their desire to make history rather than respecting the game.

“They kept him in the game and there were a lot of foul calls — 16 free throws in the fourth quarter," Keefe said. "[We were] just trying to take the ball out of his hands"

Keefe didn't stop there, he kept his opinion on the game very blunt:

“The fourth quarter just turned into not a real basketball game,” the Wizards coach added.

It's hard to argue with Keefe's analysis of how the fourth quarter unfolded. Honestly, from where I was sitting too, it was extremely hard to watch.

Nobody wants to watch a free throw competition, especially in a blowout win. It's untraditional and it's certainly not good for views, even if history is on the line.

And when you listen to comments on Adebayo's night around the league, it seems like Keefe wasn't alone.

JJ Redick makes interesting comment about fourth quarter

When Los Angeles Lakers head coach JJ Redick was asked about Adebayo's performance, he made an interesting comment that seems to align with Keefe's thoughts.

“I walked in and said to my staff, ‘The Heat are rolling,’” Redick said. “They said, ‘Are you kidding right now? Bam has 77!’ I watched the last three minutes, and that was, uh, a different type of basketball.”

Redick suggesting the final three minutes was a "different type of basketball" is broad, but it's safe to say we all know what he meant.

The final stretch in this blowout loss for the Wizards was rough to watch and it's easy to understand why Keefe was frustrated.
