Entering the offseason, one of the biggest needs for the Washington Wizards to address was the depth in the frontcourt.

With an expected starting group of AJ Dybantsa, Anthony Davis, and Alex Sarr rounding out the frontcourt, it's safe to say that Washington doesn't have any concerns in terms of who they'll be rolling out at tip-off.

However, in case of emergency situations such as injuries, foul trouble, or even just personnel options at Brian Keefe's disposal, the team doesn't have many options to consider on the bench as of now.

Kyshawn George, Bilal Coulibaly, and Will Riley are all viable frontcourt options, but not exactly capable of filling in for Sarr or AD if something were to happen.

7-footer Tristan Vukcevic is another bench option, but not the most likely candidate to enter the season in that role.

Looking at the start of free agency, several available big men have already either re-signed with their current teams or found a payday elsewhere, with Walker Kessler and Mitchell Robinson coming to mind.

And while Washington was never expected to be in the market for either of the above targets, with names flying off the board, one available option is sticking out for the Wizards to pursue.

Wizards should bring back Marvin Bagley III

Marvin Bagley III leaving the Wizards just to come back in free agency is starting to become a trend that the fanbase can get behind.

The 27-year-old big man isn't a dominant talent by any means, but he's proven every time he gets an opportunity in Washington, he takes the challenge head-on and opens eyes each time.

Before being traded to the Dallas Mavericks ahead of the NBA trade deadline as part of the deal to bring Anthony Davis to D.C., the Duke product found himself as a key piece of Washington's rotation, averaging 10.1 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on 62.6% shooting from the field and 42.1% from three.

Bagley continued his strong play in Dallas, posting 11 points per contest and 6.8 rebounds, while shooting 60.6% from the floor and 48.5% from beyond the arc

The big man clearly has high praise for the organization, considering he's come back in free agency, and if Washington trading him once again didn't burn a bridge, he'd be the perfect reserve option in minutes off the bench, while also being a reliable spot starter if needed.

Not to mention, he likely wouldn't cost Washington much at all to bring back.

All that to say, if Bagley is open to a reunion, the Wizards should be too.
