Kyshawn George has been among the biggest bright spots for the Washington Wizards this season.
Throughout the start of his sophomore campaign, the forward has proven to not only be one of the team's most versatile players, but he's positioned himself to be part of the team's long-term plans.
The Miami product has evolved in head coach Brian Keefe's system and the belief the coaching staff has poured into the forward's development has contributed to George's increase in confidence up to this point.
Serving as a leader both on and off the court, George's role on the Wizards has become clear.
Looking ahead, George has the skillset to be an All-Star caliber player with the right development, which is exactly why Washington's decision-maker opted to make a blockbuster trade for four-time All-Star Trae Young.
Young's arrival gives the team hope that a dynamic playmaker commanding the offense can help the team's young core rise to another level.
And while George may not be on an All-Star level yet, that hasn't stopped the 22-year-old from setting goals along the way.
Now, George's Rising Star fate is set to be revealed.
NBA Rising Stars roster to be revealed Monday
The NBA announced that the Castrol Rising Stars rosters would be announced on Monday night ahead of a full-slate of hoops.
The 2026 Castrol Rising Stars will be announced tonight at 6:30 PM ET on @peacock.

While George is not guarenteed a spot on the roster, it's hard to imagine that he won't be awarded a spot considering he's been among the top sophomores in the league this season.
In fact, I'll make a not-so-bold prediction and say that George is a lock to make the Rising Stars roster and for good reason.
Averaging 15.5 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.1 assists, while shooting an efficient 45.3% from field goal range and 38.7% from beyond the arc, the 6-foot-8 playmaker has shown plenty of flashes of his high-ceiling.
Not only has George been consistent, but he's strung together several big performances including a 34-point performance against the Dallas Mavericks at the start of the season and a recent 29-point night versus the Denver Nuggets in a recent loss to name a few.
Based on George being not just one of the best sophomores in the league, but one of the best young players in general puts his chances at earning a spot in the Rising Stars game pretty high.
Nonetheless on Monday, we'll have the chance to find out if George will be apart of All-Star weekend after all.
