The Washington Wizards have a big offseason ahead of them with multiple draft picks at their disposal to upgrade their roster in a major way.

Washington's win in the finale put them in the position to earn the No. 1 overall pick, but it also put them in a scenario where they could drop all the way out of the top five, as far back as No. 7 overall.

In a recent NBA Mock Draft simulation by Bleacher Report, it presented the Wizards nightmare unfold with them falling all the way back to the No. 5 overall pick.

That being said, here's a look at how the Wizards made out in this two-round mock draft:

Round 1, Pick 5: PG/SG Jeremiah Fears, Oklahoma

In this scenario, the Wizards fall all the way back in the top five in get put in the position where they take the best player available. Obviously, Washington is in position to likely bolster their backcourt with four of the top five players all being guards.

And by no means is Jeremiah Fears a bad player, at all. In fact, he has everything it takes to be a certified star at the next level. The Oklahoma star proved that this season, averaging 17.1 points, 4.1 rebounds and 4.1 assists, while shooting 43.4% from field goal range.

The problem? For starters, the Wizards could even miss out on Fears, especially if he shows out in the NBA Draft combine. Which is fine, they'll have likely another top player to choose from. However, falling to No. 2 loses them any chance they had at selecting their top choice from the pool of talented players.

From potentially landing No. 1 or No. 2 and being guaranteed one of Cooper Flagg or Dylan Harper all the way to hoping a player they like is available to them at No. 5.

Round 1, Pick 19 (via MEM): PG Nolan Traore, Saint-Quentin

t's now been finalized that the Wizards have earned the No. 18 overall pick in this year's draft, but this simulation likely was done prior to the Grizzlies winning the coin flip to allow the Wizards to slot into No. 18 rather than No. 19.

Nonetheless, at No. 19, Bleacher Report's simulation has the Wizards selecting Nolan Traore out of Saint-Quentin.

Traore is yet another French product that the Wizards would be taking the gamble on in the backhalf of this draft. This past season, he averaged 10.8 points and 5.2 assists, while shooting 43.2% from field goal range.

The 6-foot-5 guard is ranked ESPN's No. 18 prospect and with good size and instincts to be a fun developmental player at the next level.

Round 2, Pick 40 (via PHX): SG Tyrese Proctor, Duke

Tyrese Proctor would be the third guard selected in the draft for the Wizards in this simulation. The Australian product showed flashes of his potential with the Blue Devils and his improved three-point shooting is something that could translate well to the next level.

However, it'd be hard to see the Wizards using all three of their draft picks to land guards.
