The Washington Wizards acquisition of Trae Young added plenty to talk about in regards to the team's rebuild.
For starters, adding a premiere talent at the one position Washington needed to find an answer at the most seemed to be a major win, especially considering the low cost it took for the Wizards to land a star guard like Young.
In addition, the four-time All-Star listing Washington as his preferred landing spot seemed to be noteworthy in its own right based of the simple fact that the Wizards have struggled immenseley in the past to lure talent to the DMV, even with the likes of John Wall and Bradley Beal on the roster.
However, arguably the most talked about points in regards to Young's addition is how his arrival will impact the development of the team's top young prospects on the roster
As for impacts, many believed that the addition of Young would be pivotal to the development of big man Alex Sarr, who seems to be in line for a major leap with an adequate playmaker running the offense.
Nonetheless, in the same sentence, the optimism about how Young could positive impact Sarr was challenged by the overwhelming fear that the addition of the guard could stump the development of Kyshawn George.
George, who's proven to be one of the biggest rising stars on the Wizards has proven the flourish with the ball in his hands utilizing his versatility as both a playmaker and a scorer would likely take a back seat on offense with Young getting the bulk of touches when he finally gets inserted into the Wizards' lineup.
Despite that, there's plenty of cases that prove that there's enough opportunities to go around and with Young understanding just how talented George is, it's safe to say that he'll make it a point of emphasis to keep the forward heavily involved in the team's offense.
Trae Young takes to social media to acknowledge Kyshawn George
Following George's historic performance against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday, Young shared his thoughts on the Miami product's big game on X:
Young bull is really like that…🔥 https://t.co/xRRxnT0qNK

There's no doubt that George is playing with next-level confidence and his mindset to dominate has allowed for him to put together multiple huge performances through the start of the season.
Until Young is on the floor alongside the forward, it's hard to know just how the two will play alongside one another, but all indications point to the two talents being able to coexist.
